Xavier Selzer Obituary, Death – The victim of a deadly wrong-way crash that occurred over the weekend in Sunnyvale has been identified by the coroner for Santa Clara County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Xavier Selzer, a 22-year-old resident of Hayward, passed away early on Sunday morning at approximately 4 a.m. when he was driving a red 2017 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 237.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Selzer was struck head-on by a driver operating a 2021 silver Honda Civic that was traveling in the incorrect direction.

The California Highway Patrol has only been able to name the motorist as a San Francisco resident who is 34 years old. The California Highway Patrol suspects the driver may have been inebriated, but they are waiting for the results of toxicology tests to confirm this.

Both drivers passed away at the scene of the accident. Before his untimely death, it was stated on a GoFundMe page set up in Selzer’s honour that he was pursuing a career in medicine.

Joyce Moreno, who was fortunate enough to know him, was quoted in the article as saying, “He will be desperately missed, but his light and spirit will continue on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.”

“Xavier was the bright spot in our lives, and his true love and kindness left an impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
