Wayne Steele Obituary, Death – Revesby Workers’ community, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the departure of our good friend and colleague, Wayne Steele, who went away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023. Wayne’s passing occurred on April 25th, 2023.
After a brief illness, Wayne passed away in a manner that was unexpected and unexpectedly sudden. After working at the Club for over 36 years, Wayne is still a Gardener on the Facilities Team. He began his career at the Club in 1987. During this time, each of us came to recognize Wayne as a member of the Revesby Workers’ family who was extremely devoted to the organization, worked very hard, and was loyal.
No of the weather, Wayne would always be found outside working with the utmost pride to ensure that every visitor was first greeted with a beautifully kept garden. After a long day at work, you could frequently find Wayne relaxing with a beer in the sports bar while watching a game of rugby league with his friends. Wayne was an avid supporter of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Our sincere gratitude goes out to our great friend Wayne for everything that he has done for the Club, its staff, and its clients. You will be deeply missed, and our memories of you will become stronger as the seasons pass.
The funeral arrangements will be publicized the following week for those who would like to pay their respects.
