Todd Miles Obituary, Death – The Smithfield man killed in a two-vehicle crash at Utah’s Logan-Cache Airport has been identified. The accident happened near the Logan-Cache Airport on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Around 12:17 p.m. local time, the collision occurred near 900 West Airport Road. Miles died as a result of a collision between two cars. Todd Miles, 60, of Smithfield, was pronounced dead at the scene after law enforcement and emergency medical personnel failed to save his life. According to authorities, Miles was last seen heading east on Airport Road in a Buick car. The vehicle began to drift off the road near 900 West, and the driver overcorrected, sending it careening into oncoming traffic and being rear-ended by a Chevrolet pickup truck.

According to the officers that attended to the terrible two-vehicle crash, Randall claimed that Miles was not wearing a seat belt. The pickup truck driver had minor injuries and was wearing a seatbelt at the time. Officers were the first to arrive at the scene and began doing CPR on Miles right away. Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and began CPR on the patient. According to Randall, authorities have no reason to believe that impairment had a role in the crash.

They don’t know what caused Miles to veer off the road in the first place. Following Miles’ death, the Logan City Police Department expressed condolences to his family. They also thanked the Smithfield City Police Department and Cache County Victim Services for their support with the investigation.
