Timothy Hicks Obituary, Death – A man has been taken into custody by the Henrico County police department in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in the Fairfield District on Saturday night. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m.
On Saturday evening, just a little after 11 o’clock, the police in Richmond told their colleagues in Henrico that a person who had been shot had been taken to the emergency room of the VCU Medical Centre. The victim was taken there for treatment.
The detectives determined that the location of the crime scene was a residence in the 3700 block of Whitlock Avenue in Henrico. The neighbourhood is known as the Henrico neighbourhood.
Timothy Hicks, who had just turned 19 at the time of the incident, passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained while he was being treated at the hospital.
In connection with the incident, William Lamonte Johnson, 18, from Henrico was located and apprehended by the police. Two counts of murder in the second degree and one count of carrying a concealed firearm while committing a felony are included in the indictment against Johnson. Johnson is being held at the Henrico County jail without the possibility of bond at this time.
