Thomas Green Obituary, Driver killed in major Lafayette crash identified

Thomas Green Obituary, Death – The name of a man who was killed in a serious incident on Tuesday has been made public by the Lafayette Police Department. The collision resulted in the man’s death. Thomas Green, 75, of Lafayette, was declared deceased at the scene of a significant car accident that took place in the 3200 block of Moss Street at around 11:03 a.m., according to the information that was provided by Lafayette Police.

The accident took place in the morning. Green was moving at a fast rate of speed when, according to the report filed by the police, he suddenly lost control of his vehicle and swerved across all five lanes of traffic. As a direct and immediate result of this, Green was hit by the car driven by another motorist on the passenger side of the vehicle he was operating.

Green did not survive his injuries and passed away as a result. The second driver had extremely minor injuries as a result of the collision and was sent to the hospital. An investigation into the cause of this collision is currently being carried out by the Traffic Division of the Lafayette Police Department. There are no longer any limitations placed on drivers’ use of the motorway.
