Steve Lamble Obituary, Death- The demise of Steve Lamble, who was a loving and devoted husband to Kylie and a father to Blake (who was a U17.5 player) and Imogen (who was a former player), has left the entire Mordi-Brae Community in a state of profound mourning. Blake was a player for the U17.5 team.
Imogen was a player for the U17.5 team. Blake participated in competitions for the Mordi-Brae U17.5 team. The former version of Imogen was a member of the team. Steve was always eager to get involved and lend a hand, whether it was in the capacity of an assistant coach, volunteer umpire, runner, or boundary umpire. Steve was always willing to help out in any way he could. Steve was always prepared to pitch in and assist in any way that was required of him. Steve exemplified the type of person who was always willing to assist others in need. Even on the days when there was no football played, it was not unusual to find Steve on Walter Galt Oval 2 with his cherished Patchee and Tucker. Patchee and Tucker were his best friends. He had an intense love for them both. This was something that happened on a regular basis.
To put it succinctly, an exceptional club member who has been and will continue to be missed by everyone in this room. We want Kylie, Blake, and Imogen to know that we are thinking about all of you and sending our best wishes for strength and comfort during this trying time. We hope that you will all find some solace in the fact that we are thinking about you. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we hope you can feel them. On the following Sunday, in honor of the Lamble family, all of the players and officials will pay tribute to the Lamble name by donning a black armband while playing in their respective matches. This gesture will take place in memory of the Lamble family.
