Ron Hamilton Obituary, Death – On November 9, 1950, Ronald Allen Hamilton was born in South Bend, Indiana. Melvin Hamilton and Leota Marie Hamilton did a great job of planning for their family. Ron came into the world two years, four months, and three days before Marta Sue. Two years, four months, and three days after Marta Sue was born, Terrill Lee was born.
Ron remembers that when he was young, he got down on his knees by his bed and told Jesus that he was God’s Son and that he had died on the cross to pay for his sins. He also asked Jesus to forgive his sins and let Jesus into his heart to save him. Salvation and having a personal friendship with Jesus Christ are the only ways to spend eternity in heaven. This is the whole gospel, the gospel that Ron lived his whole life for.
Ronnie, as his friends and family called him, was a very busy boy who loved to joke around and make people laugh. Even though he was kind and loving to his parents at home, his quick wit sometimes got him into trouble at school.
Ron’s wake will be held at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive in Greenville, South Carolina, on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, there will be a celebration of life at Bob Jones University in the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium, 1700 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29614, followed by a burial service at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
