Raule Callender Obituary, Raule Callender Killed In Route 1A Crash In Ellsworth Has Been Identified

Raule Callender Obituary, Death – It has been determined that a man from Bangor passed away on Friday as a result of an incident involving two vehicles that took place on Route 1A in Ellsworth.

According to Troy Bires, the deputy chief of the Ellsworth police department, Raule Callender, 43, was murdered early on Friday morning after his car collided with a pickup truck on the road. The accident occurred in Ellsworth.

At around 6:20 a.m., Callender was driving a 2009 Nissan Murano in the direction of Ellsworth when he was involved in a head-on collision with a 2009 GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by John Belanger, 27, from Gouldsboro, according to Bires.

The collision took place close to the junction of Winkumpaugh Road and Route 1A, which is the most important thoroughfare connecting the cities of Bangor and Ellsworth.

Bires reported that Belanger had very minor to no injuries as a result of the crash. He did not agree to give any additional details about the collision, citing the fact that the inquiry is still ongoing.
