Peter Webber Obituary, Death – Peter Weber, a resident of Stratford, died on February 9, 2023, at the age of 69, peacefully and with his loved ones by his side. beloved husband of Sharon (a Cooper), who passed away, who was a Cooper. devoted brother of James, William E. Weber Jr. (Pat), and Suzanne Hogan (Dick), all of whom went gone. He also leaves behind his devoted partner Celeste Hammell, Sharon’s children and grandchildren, as well as devoted nieces and nephews.
Peter served in the US Navy for a period of time during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Campbell’s Soup Company as the company chauffeur. After that, he got a job driving school buses for First Student in Lawnside. He relished the opportunity to talk with the young students who rode his bus. In his leisure time, Peter liked to tell jokes, go clamming in Barnegat Bay, and use a metal detector. He had a reputation for always having both “the funniest” and “the corniest” jokes.
Peter will be remembered for his perpetual grin. All of those who had the honor of knowing him will be devastated by his passing. His memorial service will begin at 8 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, immediately after a visitation from 7 to 8 PM at the TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME at 402 White Horse Pike in Haddon Heights. Visitors from family and friends are welcome. The family requests memorial donations in lieu of flowers be donated to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
