Paul Reile Obituary, Death – On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Paul G. Reile, age 83, passed away unexpectedly while being treated at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Dominick and Lorena (Harris) Reile, both of whom predeceased him, were the parents of Paul Reile, who was born in Utica on November 1, 1939. After graduating from Proctor High School in 1958, he continued his education at Empire State College and received an Associate of Arts degree.
On November 26, 1960, Paul weds Patricia Conley at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel. He began his career as an Expediter at GE Radio, advanced to the position of Director of Materials Management at ICL in Utica, and ultimately purchased and ran Royal Electronics in Utica as his own business for almost four decades. Paul was a devoted family man who delighted in spending time with his grandchildren and doted on each of his children and daughter. He was compassionate, kind, and kind to others, even to the point of taking on the problems of others as his own.
Patricia “Pat” Reile, his beloved wife of 63 years, survives him, along with their children and their spouses, Douglas and Samantha Reile, Lucia and Joe Caroli, and Lorre Almas; their siblings and their spouses, Ronald and Beverly Reile, Richard and Jackie Reile, Valerie and Gordon Duncan, Mitchell, and Karen Reile; and their grandchildren, Joey and Amanda Caroli, Alyssa Caroli and her fiancé, Chris Skarbelis, Dominic Reile In addition to this, he was anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild in the month of August. Paul’s brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Reile, as well as his in-laws Kay and Savie Arcuri, Lucille and Vinny Diodati, Bobby, and Annamae Conley, and Billy Conley, all passed away before him. Also, Paul’s parents passed away while he was a child.
