Nancy Kinley Obituary, Death – On April 17, 2023, at the age of 79, Nancy Kinley, who resided in Rogersville, passed away and went to her heavenly home. She was actively involved in the Edgewood United Methodist Church throughout her life. Nancy was a wonderful mother and grandmother who cherished her family. Her parents, Everett and Rosa Cupp Garber, as well as her sisters Francis Laster, Isabelle Willis, Helen Bennett, and Imogene Williams, and her brothers Henry Garber, J.N. Garber, and Jimmy Garber, all passed away before her.
She is survived by her children, Pam Lawson, and Kristy Buttry, and husband, Bobby, and Traci Worley and husband, John, all of Rogersville; her son, Greg Kinley, and Terry Jo; the man she loved most in the world, Tom Newberry of Rogersville; her grandchildren, Brandon Buttry and fiancee’ Rebbeca Williams, Dakota Robinette, Brittany Lipe, Chelsi Lipe, and Amber Lipe; great-grandchildren, Lily, Malachi, Camilla Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.
On Thursday, April 20, 2023, at seven o’clock in the evening, a funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, with Reverend Richard Carroll officiating. At Harrison Cemetery on Friday, April 21, 2023, at eleven in the morning, there will be a service at the graveside. Those who would like to proceed to the cemetery in a procession are asked to gather at the funeral home by 10:00 a.m. in order to do so.
