Morris John Obituary, Death – Morris John, formerly of South Crescent, Killamarsh, tragically died away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the age of 78 years, in the Northern General Hospital.
John spent the first 22 years of his life in Chesterfield, but he has been a resident of Killamarsh since 1996. Before starting work as an operative for Yorkshire Water, John spent the previous 18 years working as a Moulder / Core Maker at the Staveley plant.
John was devoted to his family and other interests, like fishing, playing Bingo, and being a member of the Nether Green Working Men’s Club.
John was a much-loved husband for 59 years to Anne, a father and father-in-law to Robert and Richard, a grandfather to Shannon, Samantha, and Ben, and a friend to many. Robert and Richard adored him as a father-in-law.
At 11.50 in the morning on Monday, May 15th, 2023, there will be a funeral service held at the Chesterfield Crematorium.
