Mary George Obituary, Death – In the presence of her loved ones, Mary D. George, 93, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, passed away quietly on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Rev. Bernard Rott and Deacon Mark Otting will preside over a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, Wisconsin.
The funeral home’s Facebook page will stream live coverage of the services. The church cemetery will be used for interment. At the Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, where the parish prayer service will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, family, and friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m.
Before the service on Thursday, friends may visit the funeral home from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Mary has been a longstanding participant in Dickeyville’s Holy Ghost Parish. The most recent position Mary held was at Sinsinawa Mound in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin. Mary loved bowling, and she participated in the sport for more than 50 years. In 40 National Tournaments, she bowled.
Additionally, she loved reading, playing euchre, and going to the casino. Mary devotedly followed her children’s athletic endeavors. Susie (Don) Tranel, Dickeyville, WI; Pat (Sharon) George, Platteville, WI; Bill (Lori) George, De Soto, WI; and eleven grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon) Rethwisch, Trisha (Jarrett) Payton, Jenny (Jamie Postell) Snyder, Joe (Brittney) Snyder, and Cody (Lorjean) Tranel, survive Mary.
