Marco Cornejo Obituary, Death – According to a GoFundMe campaign that was launched by the guy’s wife, the man who was shot and murdered at a prom afterparty in north Fort Worth on Sunday was a father to one child and was about to become a parent to another girl. Marco Cornejo, 20, was shot and killed early on Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 a.m.
According to the police, after an argument at a party that was being held in an empty lot turned violent and an unknown individual pulled out a gun and shot him. According to the police, when officers went to a complaint of a shooting in the 3500 block of Northwest 27th Street, they found the victim, who was identified as Cornejo on the GoFundMe page, with a gunshot wound to the torso.
According to the information gathered by investigators, there was a large party taking place at the area, and the victim and the gunman got into an altercation prior to the shooting taking place. The victim was transported to a hospital, but it was too late for him to be saved.
No arrests have been reported by the police, and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not made any statements or provided any information as of yet.
On the GoFundMe page, Cornejo’s wife, Daniela Gomez, explained that she is attempting to collect donations for a funeral service. “His whole family and I are devastated,” Gomez wrote in the GoFundMe page she created for the cause. Anyone who had the opportunity to get to know him on a personal level is aware of how goofy, happy, and loving he truly was. He was loved by many.
