Lauretta Hoover Obituary, Death- Loretta Hoover, who had lived in Stephens City all her life, passed away at the Winchester Medical Center on the evening of Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She was born on February 22, 1930.
in Frederick County, Virginia, to parents who went by the names Robert C. Hoover and Kathryn Smith Hoover. Her grandparents were also named Robert C. Hoover and Kathryn Smith Hoover. Before her mother got married, her mother was known by her maiden name, which was Smith. She was the only kid that her parents had ever had, as well as the only child that each of her parents had ever had at any point in their life. Before she got married, her mother was known by her maiden name, which was Smith.
After she got married, she stopped using her maiden name. She went through with the name change after the wedding. She reasoned that it would be best for her to pursue retirement, and as a result, she turned in her resignation at American Woodmark. She is survived by her daughter, Karen D. Haack, and her husband, Daniel W., who live in Inwood, West Virginia; two grandsons, Joe L. Hott and Bryan Z. Hott; two great-granddaughters, Natalie Hott and Alayjah Mae Hott; and one brother, James E. Hoover, who lives in Green Spring, Virginia. In addition, she is survived by one sister, Mary E. Hoover, who lives in Charleston, West Virginia. She is also survived by one sister, Mary E. Hoover, who currently resides in Charleston, West Virginia.
