Khalia Smith Obituary, Death – The Hoover Police Department has received information indicating that a person was killed after a vehicle crashed with a number of trees on Wednesday evening close to the intersection of County Road 52.
At around 11:30 o’clock in the evening, a call was placed to the Hoover 911 center to report a collision that had taken place on Shelby County Road 13 involving a single vehicle.
Law enforcement officials and emergency medical personnel from Hoover and Helena arrived at the area where the incident occurred and quickly discovered that the victim had already passed dead.
