Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department took custody of Marques Porch, 19, Gregory Parker, 19, and Derrick Curry, all of whom are 19 years old, and transferred them to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

The authorities say that each of them will be charged with first-degree feticide as well as second-degree murder for the crimes that they committed. According to a statement made by a spokeswoman for the Birmingham Police Department, the incident took place on North Carrollton Avenue near Renoir Avenue at approximately 12:30 in the am. Authorities determined that the victims were a woman named Kerisha Johnson, who was 36 years old, and the child that she was carrying at the time.

According to the police, Johnson was killed when he attempted to pick people up from a party shortly after having left them off at the location just a few seconds earlier.The investigation revealed that Johnson had only a few weeks left before she was due to give birth. The Baton Rouge Police Department said that during the exchange of gunfire, one of the suspects sustained injuries.
