Kenny Carr Obituary, Death – As soon as I learned that Kenny Carr, a life member of the Suffern Volunteer Hose Company #1, had passed away, I was overtaken by an overwhelming sense of sorrow. Kenny Carr had been a member of the company since it was founded. Kenny Carr had been a part of the organization ever when it first opened its doors.

When the organization first started accepting new members, Kenny Carr was already a member of the staff. Whether it was through his work as President of the Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association, his central role in the establishment of the new firehouse for the Suffern Volunteer Hose Company #1, or his work in the Suffern Masonic Lodge, Lions Club International – for which he served as Deputy District Governor, and as a past president of the Monsey Lions Club.

Kenny’s dedication to our community served as a source of motivation for those who were fortunate enough to be inspired Kenny Carr was a man who served as an example of both selflessness and leadership, and he will be remembered for all time in Rockland County for the positive impact that he had on the community there. Because of the significant contributions he made in that area, he will be remembered forever.
