Justin Trevino Obituary, Death – This week came out of nowhere and hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. My brother Justin Trevino passed away unexpectedly. There is always the possibility that things will not go as planned for the following day.
I am convinced, however, that this man arrived safely and is now in the presence of the Lord God Almighty. He was sovereignly regenerated to life when he came to Christ, and he bore great fruit after his conversion, which was visible throughout his walk and during the years I knew him. I am grateful for the chance to get to know this man.
One of his interests was to minister the word of God to individuals far away who God would place in his path, continually guiding them to Christ in the process of redeeming the time that the Lord had given for him to spend on earth as part of his purpose on earth.
He had an infectious love for God and His people, and he was always eager to help in whatever capacity was required whenever there was an opportunity for prison ministry. He planned to use his barbering skills to generate evangelism opportunities, allowing him to be a testimony for Christ to everyone God placed in his barber chair. He planned to use his barbering abilities to open doors for evangelism.
Those who knew and loved him will be deeply grieved by his death, but I am convinced that I will see him again at my father’s house when my turn comes to return home. Justin, my younger brother, you are my ultimate favorite.
Here are some priceless memories I formed in the years following my initial meeting with him, including some of the times God blessed us by letting us to serve together to preach the gospel in jails and prisons. Please pray for his family, who have been devastated by his departure and could use some extra strength, comfort, and peace right now. Furthermore, if you are able to assist with burial expenses, we would appreciate it if you would consider providing a donation to Georgie Trevino, his widow.
