Judy Feyer Obituary, Death – I have to break the news to you with a heavy heart that Judy Feyer, a long-time member of the Fiddle Club, passed away yesterday due to a sudden and unexpected illness.

Please accept my condolences. As a result of the fact that she was getting ready to leave her residence in order to work at the Quesnel Music Festival this weekend, she passed away while she was getting ready to go.

Over the course of the past 11 years, the ‘Fiddlefest’ program that Judy hosted on Tuesday evenings on CFIS FM 93.1 has established itself as a fan favorite among listeners.

Judy has been and always will be an ardent supporter of not only our club but also music in general. After working in a variety of roles for our organization, including those of Contest Chairperson, Director, Treasurer, and President, she was awarded a Lifetime Membership as a token of our gratitude for the meticulousness with which she approached her work and the speed with which she was able to complete tasks.

She was skilled on the banjo and the piano, but dancing was the activity that she truly cherished. Judy, we will all miss having you as a part of our group.
