John Abbott Obituary, Death – Dr. John Abbott passed away on April 21st, 2023, and the City of Mineola would like to extend its deepest sympathies to all of Dr. Abbott’s friends and family members.
His life, leadership, and personal and professional example to our community will be much missed, as will his enthusiasm for education. At 2:00 PM today, funeral services will be place at the First Methodist Church in Mineola.
Donations to the Mineola ISD Building, Construction, and Renovation Fund are being solicited in place of traditional floral tributes at the family’s request.
