Jessie Montalbo Obituary, Death- The university and the whole JPIChE community express their sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Dr. Jessie A. Montalbo, BatStateU Alangilan’s first Chancellor, who passed away on April 25, 2023. Dr. Montalbo passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Dr. Montlabo is undeniably a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to be in his orbit in a variety of different ways. His dedication to the classroom and unflinching concern for the welfare of his pupils and faculty members reshaped the way that we think about the world around us. While we remember his life and are saddened by his passing, let us not forget to rejoice in the love, kindness, and happiness that he provided to the entire institution during his time here. During this trying time, the members of the JPIChE family would like to send our most heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Dr. Montalbo’s family, friends, and loved ones. May we find solace in the remembrances we have of him and the legacy that he has left for us, and may we always keep him close to our hearts.

It is never easy to say goodbye to a person we know and cares about, but the void left behind when they pass away can be especially devastating if they were a positive influence on our lives as well as the lives of others. The demise of Dr. Jessie A. Montalbo, the first Chancellor of Batangas State University–The National Engineering University–Alangilan, has left the Supreme Student Council of Batangas State University–The National Engineering University–Alangilan in a state of profound grief. During this time of tragedy, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and coworkers. Please accept our sincerest condolences and know that you have our support.
Through his persistent commitment to education and unflinching dedication to quality, he has impacted the lives of numerous students and faculty members over the course of more than four decades, making him a true inspiration to a great number of people who have had the good fortune to come into contact with him. Dr. Jessie A. Montalbo, your legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and thoughts of everyone who had the good fortune to have met you. May you rest in peace.
