Israel Collazo Obituary, Death –Today I learned that a colleague who served beside me in the military had recently passed away. Israel Collazo passed tragically on Saturday night as a result of events that nobody could have imagined at all. When I first started working at the Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, this individual was assigned to me in the facility’s security department in the role of First Time Officer, or FTO for short.
During the period that we spent working at the hospital, not only were we able to advance to the level of FTO, but we also established some fantastic new friendships there! Collazo was in the process of enlisting in the United States Army, which was something that another coworker and I had been assisting him with over the course of the previous year as he prepared to take the necessary steps to enlist in the military. Collazo was in the process of enlisting in the United States Army when he told us that he was going to join the military.
