Glenda Burnette Obituary, Death – At the age of 88, Glenda (Isenberg) Burnette, who resided in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at Norton’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Friday, April 21.
Glenda was born on March 1, 1935, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Grace (Turner), who passed away, and Clarence Isenberg, who also passed away.
She had a husband by the name of Louis Edward Burnette, but he passed away before she did.
She leaves behind five daughters, all of whom reside in the city of Louisville, Kentucky: Candy Jo Hill (JR), Sheila Fay Burnette, Shari Ann Gray, Karen Hope Vogt, and Teresa Renee Pace. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
In addition to her children, Glenda is survived by her brother, Leon Isenberg of Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
Her husband and both of her parents before her, and she was also predeceased by her four brothers, Verice, Selva, Mitchell, and James Burnette, as well as her sister, Eva Witte.
On Saturday, April 29th, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be place at the Yokley Trible Funeral Home located in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
After the funeral, the burial will take place at Isenberg Cemetery.
At the Yokley Trible Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and continue until the time of the ceremony at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Isenberg Cemetery in Glenda’s honor may be made at any time.
