Gary Schroeder Obituary, Minnesota, Gary Schroeder Has Passed Away

Gary Schroeder Obituary, Death – On Monday, April 17, I found out that my first born child, Gary Jr., had passed away. I was devastated. In the brief span of 46 years, 11 months, and 29 days that he has spent on this earth, he has managed to leave an indelible impact on the hearts of an uncountable number of people, including mine.

Numerous occasions have found us out and about on the open road, adventuring together. But the journey to Idaho in 2021 with your reliable companion Gunny will be the one that stands out in my mind and is the one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. After we both reached retirement age in 2020, it was finally time to go turkey hunting with the “Old Man” in the spring of 2021. The “Old Man” had been holding out hope for a chance like this one. after wasting an entire day looking for two different Toms. The next day, we went back, and when we were together, I tasted turkey for the very first time.

During our time together, I got the chance to consume it. When you brought the “Old Man” out once again in 2022, I had already eaten my second turkey by 7:30 in the morning. We had already started preparations for this year’s celebration of your birthday, and one of the things we were going to do is go out and get our first father/son double turkey on your birthday, which is on April 19. I’m going to miss getting texts and photographs from you about all of the exciting things you’ve been doing with your family and the elk.

When you finally made it to paradise, I am certain that Grandma Schroeder was waiting for you there to give you a warm welcome. THANK YOU for agreeing to be my child. It’s not farewell, but “see you later” instead. There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that fate will bring us together once more in the not too distant future.
