Galleria Mall Lockdown Houston TX, Galleria Increases Security After 2 Shootings

Galleria Mall Lockdown Houston TX – According to Sylvester Turner, the Mayor of Houston, the Houston Police Department and management at The Galleria complex are collaborating to raise the level of safety both inside and outside of the renowned retail complex. On Saturday, a man in his twenties was shot in the leg while standing outside of a Shake Shack in the restaurant’s parking lot. He sustained injuries. Saturday was the day that the event took place.

Despite the fact that a man was shot and died in the parking garage of the Galleria in March, Turner stated that the mall is a “priority area” for the police department. He claimed this despite the fact that the Galleria was the location of the shooting. Turner is of the opinion that “as we move forward, the Galleria is probably the very last place anyone would want to do anything illegal or engage in any criminal activities.”

He says this because the Galleria is “probably the very last place anyone would want to do anything illegal or engage in any criminal activities.” The authorities are conducting an inquiry into a video that was purportedly published on social media in the hope that it would provide some information that will allow the identification of the individuals who are responsible for the shooting that took place on Saturday.

Turner mentioned that they are working together with the management of the retail center to improve the number of security cameras as well as the number of patrols that are conducted by uniformed and undercover police officers. This is something that is currently in the works. Turner asserted that “we have beefed up, and we will continue to beef up” in the future. “We will continue to bolster our capabilities.”
