Evangeline Quattrochi Obituary, Death – On Thursday, April 27, 2023, Evangeline R. (Picanso) Quattrochi died away at her home with her devoted daughter by her side. After 47 years of marriage, her late husband, Alberto J. Quattrochi, passed away in 1996, leaving her a widow with no one to care for her.

She was the daughter of the late Antonio Picanso and the late Maria (Bettencourt) Picanso, and she was born in Lowell. Both of her parents have since passed away. She had both her childhood and her formal education in the Lowell region.

Prior to her early retirement, Evangeline spent a significant portion of her career at Raytheon in the role of Inspector. She attended services at the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish regularly.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Quattrochi of Dracut; her son, John Anthony Quattrochi and his wife, Susan McKeever Quattrochi of St. Augustine FL; her grandchildren, John Paul Quattrochi and his wife, Megan Lickley Quattrochi of Washington, DC, and Gina Quattrochi of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Leona Lickley Quattrochi and Lorenzo Lickley Quattrochi both of Washington, DC.

Everyone is welcome to attend her calling hours on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the McDonough Funeral Home, which is located at 14 Highland Street, Lowell, and can be reached at 978-458-6816. Her funeral will begin on Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell, followed by burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. Her burial will take place on Monday afternoon.
