Edna Eagle Obituary, Former American Legion District President Has Died

Edna Eagle Obituary, Death – Edna Eagle, who had served as a president of the District in the past, has passed away. We regret to tell you of the passing of Edna Eagle, who formerly served as president of the local district. Her passing comes with our deepest condolences. Edna passed away on April 18th, and she will not be seen again in this world.

In addition to holding the position of President of Unit 85 and holding a number of other offices, Edna served the American Legion Auxiliary as Past Department Historian, Past Department Co-Chair for Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, VA Voluntary Services Representative to the DC Medical Center, numerous District Chair committees, and District Secretary/Treasurer from 2015 until the present day.

She served as the President of District 17 from 2013 to 2014, and she has held a variety of other posts within Unit 85 during the course of her career. On Thursday, May 18, from one o’clock in the afternoon to four o’clock in the evening, there will be a memorial service held at Fairfax Post 177. At the same post, there will be a session for planning that will take place on the 26th of April, at ten in the morning, on Wednesday. Every single unit is solicited to take part in either the preparations for the service or the financial support of its costs, and they are highly encouraged to do so.
