Drew Marefos Obituary, Death- The Volunteer Report will have to wait till another day. I have some very unfortunate news to share with you; most of you are familiar with “Uncle” Drew Marefos.
who was like an uncle to all of my dogs after Lucky passed away? Unfortunately, Uncle Drew passed away recently. Over the course of the past several years, Drew has instructed a significant number of you in various aspects of volunteer work. For those of you who were able to attend, I wanted to let you know that Drew was right there by my side throughout our December Office Party. It came as quite a surprise to everyone when he left early on Friday morning. We are all still in a state of shock, including his family.
the family of his deceased boyfriend Emelio, his friends, and myself. We are all still in disbelief about what happened. Those of you who were present throughout the time we spent together have firsthand knowledge of the incredible bond that developed between both of us. He devoted himself to our rather little organization, which he supported by giving freely of his time and endeavoring to be of assistance in any way that he could. After 16 years of a genuinely close connection, I have a multitude of amazing experiences to reflect on when I think back on the past.
Take a look at some of the pictures that were taken of us all taking part in a variety of activities that were connected to the Paws & Hearts organization over the course of the years. In addition to that, he was beyond ecstatic to be able to flaunt the jersey that he had been awarded for his voluntary work and brag about the good deeds he had performed!!! I couldn’t have asked for a finer sidekick.
“Okay, Drew, just let me know that you arrived in heaven unharmed and that you are with the people that you cared about,” Drew said to his friend after he had passed away.–appended with the signature of Ricky, the one who adored you more than anyone else on the face of the earth.
