Dr. Arthur Kidd Obituary, Death – On April 4, Arthur C. Kidd was born as a result of the union of Arthur and Grayce Kidd. After completing his elementary schooling at MPS Fourth Street, Arthur enrolled in Lincoln Middle High. He earned his diploma in January 1973. On December 25, 1983, after dating for 44 years, Arthur and Pamela got married.
After finishing a four-year electrical apprenticeship and becoming a Journeyman Electrician, Arthur worked for IBEW 494 for 34 years. Arthur decided to give his life to the Lord in May of 1989. As his life was impacted by his love for Jesus and desire to serve the Lord, he fell in love with John 3:16–17 and II Corinthians 5:17. As the first Deacon of the congregation at Balm in Gilead, I assisted Pastor Walter Leigh Bates.
In order to advance in Christ, he relocated his family to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he began working full-time at World Of Outreach Ministry. He and his family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after concluding their call in Little Rock, Arkansas, where they are now able to spread the love of Jesus to others. Even though he had Alzheimer’s disease, Arthur battled heroically, finished the marathon, and never wavered in his faith.
Arthur C. Kidd III, Dezteny C. Kidd, and his grandchildren Naya Moore-Kidd, Nyree Peterson, Cameron Billingsly, and Imani Driver-Kidd are still alive. He is also survived by his wife Pamela (Cobb) Kidd. He will be sorely missed by everyone. She also leaves behind a great-granddaughter, Nayeli Davenport. His siblings, Terry Harris and Tonjuana Kidd, as well as a sizable number of other family members and coworkers. Joanne Kidd, Tomara Kidd, and Beverly Billups, his three sisters, all passed away before he did. His parents, Arthur and Grayce Kidd, passed away before him.
