Don Blazek Obituary, Valparaiso High School Alumni Has Died

Don Blazek Obituary, Death – He was born on September 26, 1946, to Lod and Helen (Raiter) Blazek, and he passed away on April 19, 2023. Don Blazek’s parents were Lod and Helen (Raiter) Blazek. Don was Lod and Helen’s third child overall and their third son. On April 30, 1977, Don wed Diane Pelster in a wedding ceremony. Carrie and Christy are their kids, and they were born to Don and Diane.

Rick Blazek was born on October 24, 1951, to Lod and Helen (Raiter) Blazek. He passed away on November 3, 2013, after a long and fulfilling life. The fourth child born to Lod and Helen was named Rick. Carla Pearson was Rick’s first wife, and he later wed Linda Mentgen on October 10, 1992. Their wedding took place on February 7, 1970. Kim and Jeff were Rick and Carla’s children. Kim was a girl, while Jeff was a boy.

Heart attacks were responsible for Don and Rick’s deaths, and they were survived by their spouses, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and of course, a large number of close friends. Don received his diploma from Valparaiso Public High School in 1964, and Rick received his diploma in 1967.

Both of them were pretty dang decent basketball players when they were in school and participated in sports. After their passing, Jim, Tom, and Randy are the only surviving members of Lod and Helen’s original family of five boys.
