Dick Lierman Obituary, Death – As Kathy Lierman Blum and her family mourn the loss of Kathy’s father, Dick Lierman, please remember them in your prayers and keep them in your thoughts. On her Facebook page, Kathy paid her a touching tribute by posting the following:
“It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that our father, Dick Lierman, died away this past Sunday. The Ring Man is a moniker that many of you are likely familiar with.
Over the course of more than half a century, he traveled throughout this state selling class rings, announcements, and other graduation necessities to high school kids.
He was a man of strong personality and never met a stranger in his life. If he had only talked to you once, he would always remember your name.
Dad was a powerful man who had an outstanding attitude throughout his life. Even when it prevented him from doing the things he enjoyed, such as selling rings, being with his customers, family and friends, and long distance jogging, he battled the battle with Lewy Body Dementia with a cheerful attitude.
Or, you could be rushing to a friend’s house, where you would grab a cup of coffee before continuing your journey to the next friend’s house.
