Dennise Duvall Obituary, Death – Dennise “Ruth” Duvall, age 87, of South Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Hubbard Hospice House West.

She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Over the course of her life, Ruth kept a home and served as a caregiver to a large number of children.

William “Bill”, Ruth’s husband of 67 years, is the only person she leaves behind. Her parents, Dennis and Caroline Blake Pauley, her sister Mary Alice Hess, and her daughter-in-law Cindy Duvall all passed away before she did. She is survived by her husband.

Her legacy will live on through her three children, Michael (Debbie) Duvall, Patty (Mike) Ratcliff, and Billy “BJ” Duvall (Ruth); her seven grandchildren, Kelley (Elizabeth) McDerment, Lindsey Duvall, Kevin (Kayla) Duvall, Blake (Dee Dee) Ratcliff, Matthew Duvall, and Justin Duvall (Amber); her six great grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.

The service will be held at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, May 1, 2023. Pastor Gene Pauley will preside. At the Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek, there will be a gathering for family and friends from 10:30 to 12:30.
