Courtney Wagner Obituary, Death – On Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., funeral services for Courtney Hope Wagner will be place at White Oaks Memorial Chapel. Officiated by Rev. Robert Daniel. White Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral service, which will be followed by a burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The White Oaks Memorial Chapel will be open for visitation on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m., and again on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 8 a.m. to the start of the funeral.
Courtney, age 26, went dead suddenly in Alexandria on April 22nd, 2023. Into the loving arms of Johnnie Wagner, Jr. and Chrystal Johnston, she entered the world on December 20, 1996.
Twin Bridges Baptist Church is the site of Courtney’s believer’s baptism. Courtney was a medical student and Pineville High School class of 2014 alum. Courtney had an infinitely generous spirit that could brighten any room.
It was a privilege to get to know and love her. She loved the sport of softball, but her primary role in life was that of devoted and loving mother.
Her grandmother, Merline Hamm Guillory, on her mother’s side, passed away. She is survived by her parents, Johnnie Wagner, Jr. and Chrystal Johnston, as well as her sons, Noah James Gray and Hudsen Lee Gray, both of Pineville; her brother, Joshua Matthew Lambert (Jessica) of Summit, Mississippi; her sisters, Krysten Arieal Guillory of New Orleans and Angela Faith Wagner of Alexandria; her four step-sisters, Danielle Duby, Jenna Oldbear, Maygan Wagner, and Savannah Wood
Jan NesSmith, Christopher Wagner, Terry Pinion, Stephania Wallace Moye, Richard Bruce, III, and Rodney McManus will be serving as pallbearers.
The Reverends Joe Reynolds, Bradley Bradshaw, Reverend Mark Breland, and Reverend Darryl Hoychick will serve as honorary pallbearers.
