Charles Brahmi Obituary, Death – Charles Solomon Brahmi, 70, of Ventnor, died early Thursday morning, April 20, 2023, after a long and tough fight with lung cancer. Charles was born in Casablanca, Morocco on October 8, 1952, to Alfred Brahmi and Anna Elofer.

At the age of six, he relocated to Montreal, Quebec, where he spent his adolescent years before moving to the United States when he was 17. In his early years in the United States, Charles achieved success in retail. His business took him to Atlantic City, where he met Elia DeLuca (Debbie). They married in 1984 and had three beautiful children, Esther, Hannah, and Luke.

Charles and Debbie had continuing business success with their “Charlie’s Clothing” stores on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Charles’ second passion was poker, which he excelled at and turned into a career for many years, winning a World Series of Poker bracelet in 1999. He was a living legend and a tireless worker. Alfred Brahmi and Anna Elofer, Charles’ parents, predeceased him.

His wife, Elia Debra Brahmi, and children Esther Brahmi, Hannah Brahmi, and Luke Brahmi, as well as siblings Chantal Brahmi (Thomas Cadieux) and Raymond Brahmi, survive him. On Sunday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a visitation will be held at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield, with a brief ceremony following.
