Car Accident In Houston – After being blocked because of an accident at Channelview that included a significant number of vehicles and resulted in the death of a female driver, all of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 have reopened. The incident that caused the closure was caused by the accident.
At approximately 5:30 in the morning, a woman was involved in a collision with a second car when she was driving slowly in the space that is located between two lanes of traffic and the shoulder. When she was struck by another vehicle, she had only recently emerged from her vehicle after it had been involved in an accident and was just beginning to walk away from the scene. It was determined that she had passed away at the spot where she was located when she was found.
Deputy sheriffs indicated that there had been no other injuries that had been reported and that all drivers were cooperating with the investigation into the incident.
