Bob Miller Middle School Shooting – Wednesday’s investigation by the CCSD Police Department into a threat made against a middle school in Henderson resulted in the conclusion that the allegation was “unsubstantiated.” The following letter was sent home to parents of students attending Bob Miller Middle School in Henderson by Principal Nicole Donadio: Dear Bob Miller Middle School Families.
My number one goal is to safeguard your child’s well-being while they are at school and to keep you apprised of significant events taking place within the context of our school community. There is some truth to the rumor that our school may be in danger from a potential threat. We take any and all threats seriously and always report them to the CCSD Police Department as soon as possible. After conducting an investigation, CCSD PD determined that the matter lacked any basis in fact.
This serves as a friendly reminder to kindly encourage your child to immediately report any perceived threat to an adult on campus so that the situation can be investigated. Thank you. Students and parents are able to make reports using the SafeVoice reporting system by calling the toll-free number 1-833-216-SAFE (7233), going to the website located at safevoicenv.org, or downloading the free mobile app. You can also contact the CCSDPD dispatch at the number 702-799-5411 for quick assistance. In the event that you have any questions or concerns regarding your kid, please do not hesitate to call the school at the number 702-799-2260.
