Bill Hughes Obituary, Death – On April 18, 2023, Bill Hughes, who resided in Loudon and was 71 years old, passed away. After working for Maremont for many years, Bill eventually took his retirement. He played golf frequently, went hunting frequently, and spent a lot of time tending to his garden.

His parents, Gene and Elsie Hughes, as well as his son, Ollie Hughes, and his brother, Ronnie Hughes, had all passed away before Bill. He is survived by his brother, Floyd Hughes, and his wife, Judy; his nephews, Shane Hughes, Jeff Hughes, and B.J. Hughes; his nieces, Shena Gilmore and Tammy Newbowles; his great-niece, Nickie Gilmore; and a cherished friend, Donna Leonard.

At the Loudon Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2023, the family will be present to meet and greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will immediately follow at seven o’clock in the evening, and Reverend Clint Green will preside. Service at the graveside will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at three o’clock in the afternoon at the Valley View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
