Ben Gillis Obituary, Death – Ben Gillis, a football player for Hanover, passed away unexpectedly yesterday evening, and we are devastated to have to inform you of his passing.

He passed away for no apparent reason. We are at a loss for words to adequately convey how sorry we are to have to notify you of this turn of events.

An outstanding young guy who leaves behind many admirers and friends at the Hanover Football Club. We shall all miss him very much.
During this most difficult time, we want Ben’s family, friends, and teammates to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of a loved one. The Hanover Football Club and the Hanover Football Club Youth Academy have both temporarily halted all of their footballing activity across all age groups at this time.

This includes the Hanover Football Club Youth Academy, which was established in memory of Ben, who passed away in a tragic and unexpected accident a few months ago.
