April Cripe Obituary, 28-year-old Killed In Reed Neighborhood Homicide

April Cripe Obituary, Death – April Nicole Newcomb-Cripe, who was 28 years old at the time of her death, has been identified as the victim of a homicide that occurred in the Reed Neighborhood on April 15, 2023. Her loved ones have been informed of her passing, and they have given permission for the photograph that is attached to this post to be made public. According to the findings of the Medical Examiner, she was killed intentionally by a gunshot wound. The incident that took place in the Reed Neighborhood took the life of a woman. Officers from the Central Precinct responded to a report of gunfire in the 2800 block of Southeast Colt Drive at 11:25 p.m. on April 15, 2023. the incident was reported to have occurred. They found a woman who had passed away when they got to the scene.

It appears that the suspect or suspects fled the scene before the police arrived, and there have been no arrests made. In order to protect the safety of those involved in the investigation, Southeast Colt Drive has been shut down between Southeast 26th Avenue and Southeast 30th Avenue. The Homicide Unit of the Portland Police Department is currently en route to the crime scene to begin its investigation.
