Anthony Zangaro Obituary, Death – On April 6, 2023, in his home in Beloit, Wisconsin, Anthony Guy Zangaro, 62, passed away. His parents, Robert and Emille (Mitchell) Zangaro, gave birth to him on September 20, 1960, in California.

In 1978, he completed his high school education at De Sales in Columbus, Ohio. In 1985, he also earned a degree from Ohio State. Tony joined the US Navy as a lieutenant junior grade after completing his education.

He held that position from 1985 to 1989. Tony served his country on the USS Truett. During the summers of his high school and college years, he worked as a camp counselor for the YMCA.

Tony and Barbara Jones were married at Camp Kern in Oregonia, Ohio, on June 17, 1995. During his time with Barbara in Oregon in 1996, he attempted a run for the United States Senate.

Tony has held several management positions throughout the years, including those of district manager at Round Table Pizza, regional manager at Pizza Hut and Travel Centers of America, and human resources manager at Home Depot.

The Southpoint Casino and the World Series of Poker both employed him as a poker dealer. Tony retired in 2018 after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Tony’s one true love was automobiles. He had a wide variety of automobiles under his ownership, from Corvettes to Lincolns. About automobiles, he knew everything there was to know.

Barbara, Anthony, and George Theisen, as well as his mother Emille Zangaro, are among his surviving family members. His dad, Robert “Bob” Zangaro, passed away while he was young.

Anthony’s burial with the United States Navy will take place at sea at a later time. Donations to Wounded Warriors, Poker Gives, or The Carl B Kem Fund at the Dayton Foundation would be appreciated by Tony’s family in place of flowers.
