Alan Francis Obituary, Death – The news of Alan “Shunto” Francis’s passing came as a complete and utter surprise to us, and we are deeply saddened by this tragic turn of circumstances. Our hearts are filled with anguish over this terrible turn of events. Alan was the kind of person who, once known, could never be forgotten.

Once you knew Alan, you could never forget him. After getting to know Alan, you could never possibly forget about him. someone who used to play the game but is now a fan and is famous for their particularly loud yelling when they attend games. A Penclawdd for life and all eternity. In spite of everything that life had in store for him, he never took a step backward and instead distinguished himself while serving as a member of the 1st XV for a number of years.

He did this despite the fact that life had in store for him. In spite of the fact that his life was about to take an unexpected turn, he went ahead and did this. His unique and unmatched raucous support in West Wales was unsurpassed on the bank in Penclawdd and everywhere else the 1st XV would tour, which made every referee in the country fear him. We are left with a significant void in our life not only as a result of his departure from our rugby club but also from our community as a whole. A true Penclawdd legend.
